Nothing's Like The Good Old Days...

Ok, I'm a bit cheating here bt at the same time, nobody said that it's illegal
to write more than 1 posting at a time! Anyway, I'm trying to pay back
for being missing for a few days...

Anyway, I did mention in my previous post that I received my DVDs from Amazon.
They are CINDERELLA and THE NANNY SEASON 2.

Why CINDERELLA???
Ok, I am not a fan of a Cinderella story - meaning I do not belive in happily ever after.
But I love the story as it brings me back to younger days. Ok, I love all the classic Disney
Cartoon Movies. I've been looking high and low for all the classic Disney movies and my Mum
bought for me Beauty & The Beast around 5 years ago bt it's nt the Beauty & The Beast that
I wanted! It's a Christmas Special. I thought my search was a waste of time (years man you!)
Until I found Amazon.com!

I found the exact Cinderella movie that I wanted and more excitingly, found other
Classic Disney Movies! I love Amazon!

For years I had the image (courtesy of my memory) of the movie and now I finally
get to re-live the experience of watching it! I love the songs in that movie!

I finally get to watch the movie last Wednesday (I cut class so that I can watch it!).
God! My heart was thumping like mad, and I was smiling like I just won a lottery!
I was soooo excited - too excited in fact! And when the movie finally played, I felt
a sudden rush in my veins and then a sigh of relief... I did it!

The songs - finally I get to remember again the words for the songs and finally
I get to understand what they were talking about. There were a few scenes when I went ..
"Ohh... that's what ______ says!" I guess when I was younger I paid all my attention to the songs, the character, the plot and the ending and vaguely capture what the script was.

Now, Along ask me to look for Tom Thumb. Another classic movie that we used to watch
every single day. And guess what? I FOUND IT TOO! It's already in my shopping cart
awaiting for me to check out the goods!

On an even brighter side - I GOT THE NANNY SEASON TWO!

Anyone who knows me well enough should and must know that I am a sucker for
that big-haired, flashy-dressed, nasal-sounding FRAN FINE! I totally LOVE that woman!
And yup, I finished watching the whole season in 2 nights and am starting to re-watch it.
My Dad will say I'm crazy - he always say I am, esp when he saw me watching Season 1
over and over again.

But my Mum likes Fran too so she occasionally watches it. Oh... Kambing is starting to watch too. Hhahaa! Damn funny kan!

I'm just very frustrated that Sony is not coming out with Season 3-6. Season 2 came out in
2006 and it has been 2 years! When will it come out? Should I make a petition?

I'm a sucker for comedy, especially the series. So in my shopping cart I also have
1) Popular (remember Mary Cherie?)
2) Grosse Point
3) I Love Lucy etc.

Trust me my shopping cart have over USD$1000 worth of DVDs. I'm buying them
on a monthly basis. I can kiss my Victoria's Secret goodbye - on a short term basis.
You think I'm stupid to just let her go?

Oh P/S: I'm starting to talk like Fran! Ah-hah!!!!!
